This laid-back and yet formal affair took place at gather green in the catskill region of NY. Jesse and Laurie knew they wanted a luxury destination wedding experience for the guests and so many stayed in small cabins on the gather Greene property for the weekend. Food and friendship were the focus’ of this stunning wedding thanks to Heirloom fire’s unique setup and catering style.
Heirloom fire is a captivating, seasonally driven, immersive dining experiance. They’ve been featured on Netflix as well as notable bridal publications like people, martha Stewart and the venue report. Chicken and beef slowly roasting over a crackling fire from sunrise to sunset as the staff removed corn from the Cobb and built incredible cocktails, appetizers, and side dishes. Best part of it all, the kitchen is outdoors and open for guest to watch the hum of the working staff. This sustainably-minded full service wedding catering was an unforgettable experience for us and the guests of Laurie and Jesse. I wish you could taste it for yourself.
Food has been a hallmark of Jesse and Laurie’s relationship together and they were delighted to make it a focus of their wedding. It’s no surprise that these two had a modern masterpiece of a wedding since they run an incredible business themselves in Beacon, NY - Upstate Home Co. The NYC now Upstate, NY couple don’t take themselves too seriously and love to have fun which reflected in this laid-back wedding weekend.
