What differentiates you from other videographers we're looking at?

Experiance and personality. I pride myself on getting along well with everyone and having high emotional intelligence after studying psychology for years. That means no matter how you're feeling (excitied, vibrant, nervous, anxious, fearful), I can help you through it. I respond sensitivly to important moments and don't ignore your experiance for the sake of a "getting the perfect shot." I've filmed nearly 200 weddings and have thus experianced hundreds of picturesque moments and unplanned distasters. I can handle pouring rain, demanding family members, missing rings, and anything else that could go wrong on your wedding day with ease. When you look back, you might not even remember something hard happened.

What if I’m camera shy or we are awkward?

Even if you’re a celebrity who spends a lot of time in front of a camera, having your personal life on display can feel vulnerable. This is why I make every effort to get to know you and your spouse well ahead of time. Having someone you trust behind the camera makes a world of difference in your comfort on your wedding day. I also focus on poses of movement so you'll be having fun on a short walk rather than frozen with your arm at some odd angle.

How do we pick the music?

Music is a team effort! I'll send out a questionnaire regarding music taste to get a sense of what you enjoy. 95% of couples leave the selection to my experience of what will match well with your day. All music is professionally licensed, meaning when your grandparents watch your film they won’t find it blocked for illegal music use. Want to be more involved? We can share song suggestions back and forth as we plan for your video. I’ll help guide us toward songs that will support the narrative of the film and highlight the meaningful and celebratory moments. If you happen to be a musician or professional music producer - I’m here for all the creative input you want to give

How much equipment do you bring? Will it be in the way of our guests?

Most guests confuse me for the photographer on your wedding day. We have small dslr-like cameras that we often use hand held. This means no giant machines, big lights, or cords your guests might trip on. Keeping a low profile is essential to capturing authentic moments. When it comes to setting up for big moments, your family and friends are of the upmost importance to me. We'll use long lens' that allow us to position ourselves behind your friends so they can enjoy an uninturupted view of your ceremony and speeches.

How do you work alongside photographers you've never met?

I view the photo team as partners in a beautiful creative work. Working side by side and bouncing ideas off of each other will allow for beautiful images and video together. Often, I'll message your photographer ahead of the wedding to introduce myself if they're not someone I've had the pleasure of working with before. Building this bond ahead of the wedding helps everyone feel like we're working as a team, not against each other as competitors.

Are there travel fees?

I shoot all around New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and the East Coast. Travel is included for any weddings that are drive-able from Syracuse, NY where we are based. I love to travel and am happy to make a trip anywhere in the world to celebrate your love. If you anticipate me needing to fly to reach your wedding destination, additional fees may occur.
