Kelsey and Patrick were set up by mutual friends and met on a blind date at Swol Burger in downtown Rochester. Prior to meeting, Patrick had seen a video of Kelsey twerking and thought ‘I need to meet this girl!’ Little did he know, that wild girl had a precious daughter, Maddie, who he’d also fall in love with and become a father to. Maddie was a star of the day - it was her wedding too.

Being a local Rochester photographer, Kelsey has captured dozens of weddings and knew exactly what she wanted for her own- a focus on family, ability to be themselves, and a whole ton of fun at their reception. It was all about the little details of relationship dynamics, meaningful moments, and happy tears.

The couple chose each venue with incredible natural light in mind. Truly no detail was overlooked from the picturesque downtown location for group photos to the vintage car the couple traveled in. We loved each moment of first looks and were crying right alongside Patrick as he saw Maddie for the first time.

Bringing together Kelsey’s love for 90s R&B and Patrick’s for unique beers, their reception was a blast! Most of the guests traveled in from out of town and had never seen the Rochester Skyline before. The incredible views from the Strathallen rooftop reception were a highlight of their experience.
